Donor Unknown

I’m looking forward to going to a viewing on Monday 13th June of Donor Unknown, the film about a former sperm donor meeting up with several of the (now) young people he helped to create.  There will be a Q & A session afterwards.  JoEllen, the offspring whose story leads the film, will be there and she is coming to stay the night with us too. It will be fun getting to know her. Hopefully Zannah will come to to the showing as well but she is so laid back about the whole DC business that she forgot the date and made arrangements to go away with a friend instead (she’s at Uni and has just finished exams). Hope she can at least meet JoEllen, although just because they are both donor conceived does not mean that they have to like each other or find anything in common. I think Zannah was quite surprised when she came to one of the DCN national meetings and really enjoyed meeting other DC adults. She genuinely had not anticipated this as being something she would be interested in doing, but actually found it fascinating (she is studying anthropology!)

The film is showing at 9pm at The Phoenix Cinema in E.Finchley, N.London
