The sometimes sadness of Spring

It’s the first day of Spring today.  Here in London the sun is shining and the bare earth in my garden is beginning to reveal bright green shoots.  Things are growing again.  Hope is in the air.  But for some, still no baby.  And this is why this time of year can feel as hard for those still on the fertility treatment rollercoaster as Christmas.  Ellen Glazer, an American counsellor with over thirty years experience of working with families  trying to conceive, particularly via egg donation, has written a lovely piece for the blog of the American Fertility Association.  She is a wise woman and her words are sensitive, supportive and practical.  Have a read …
